Agan Aroma & Fine Chemicals began its history as a division of Agan Chemicals Ltd., a major manufacturer of chemicals for agriculture and industry. Its growth was little short of phenomenal, with sales increasing tenfold within seven years. The Agan Aroma & Fine Chemicals Division was soon contributing 17 percent of its parent company's revenues. In 1996 Agan Aroma & Fine Chemicals became a company in its own right, backed by a substantial, ambitious investment program.
