CMT Medical Technologies was founded by a group of scientists from the Technion: The Israel Institute of Technology and Tel-Aviv University. Their one goal was to develop and market products for advanced medical applications. In 1984, a team of researchers left academia to compete in the international marketplace. CMT soon focused its efforts exclusively on medical imaging and experimented with a variety of channels to market and sell its products. Today, CMT has grown into a dynamic international company with many agents and distributors around the world and with more than 600 clinical installations worldwide. CMT has truly emerged from its academic past to the forefront of medical imaging. |
