The International Center for the Study of Bird Migration at Latrun was founded through the joint initiative of Tel Aviv University and the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
The Center operates under "joint wings" :Tel Aviv University is responsible for the research areas and their budgets, and the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel is responsible for the educational and operational activities. Together the two bodies deal with personnel recruitment, financial management and auditing and with providing full support to the body, which exists at Latrun. |
