| Is your focus on particular projects in Israel or abroad, or is it on Jewish text-based learning and studying as well? What opporunities do you have for Jewish envrionmentalists in the U.S.? My study group has focused on Torah portions with environmental themes, such as the Creation, Noah, Bal Tacheit, leaving the fallen crops and the corners for the poor to feed themselves, preservation of plants and animals, care for animals, etc. We also discuss how these themes relate to contemporary environmental issues and problems.
