Who we are
 
  • GUARDIANS OF THE ENVIRONMENT is a Birdwatching independent, non- profit organization, based in the city of Rehovot, on the central coastal plain, in ISRAEL. In Hebrew we are called "HA-EFRONIM". We are concerned citizens, who care about the environment, from deep in our being. We are business people, scientists, and other professionals. We are all volunteers. We have been honored by Israel's Minister of Environment for our dedicated work concerning environmental issues. Our activity won us a recognition, There for we have received the highest award from Israel's minister of environment.

    The income from our activities is dedicated for environmental activities. To maintain and increase the environmental awareness. Supporting research, for backing initiatives in environmental legislation.

    All our environmental awareness activities and projects involve hundreds of students and youth, from community centers from all around the country, who participate in our seminars, and out door activity. We have been honored by Israel's Minister of Environment for our dedicated work concerning environmental issues. Our activity won us a recognition, There for we have received the highest award from Israel's minister of environment.

    1. Water The "THE" living source:
      A continues project preventing water pollution in Holyland. Preserving the Sea of Galilee as "THE" fresh water reservoir.
    2. Transportation 2,000:
      Learning the transportation problems of Israel as a small country. Privately owned car Vs Public Transportation.
    3. Grants / Scholarship:
      Granting students who contributes in their research, for environmental conservation, for the welfare of the community.
